Yamadonga's Record Satellite Rights Sale

The days of film business being entirely dependent on box-office collections alone are gone for good. These days, producers can get back good returns on their investments through sale of rights of Audio, VCD, DVD, Satellite Telecast and Internet Viewing. The centre of business attraction, at present, is the sale of satellite rights, which crossed the Rs. 1 crore mark last year. Zee TV purchased Stalin, Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhalu Verule, Munna and Dubai Seenu for Rs. 1.50, 1.40, 1.30 and 1.20 crores respectively. It is reported that MAA TV purchased the satellite rights of Yamadonga for a record Rs.1.75 crores. This is an obvious signal from the trade circles reflecting their immense confidence in the S.S.Rajamouli and NTR Jr. combo. All said and done, with the growing tussle between TV Channels to buy film telecast rights, the producers can heave a sigh of rich relief.
